    Tiziano Martini

Tiziano Martini’s work is an on-going reflection on the possibilities of the painting practice. He initiates a dialogue with the canvas surfaces and with the materials he employs. Intuitive and accidental, his painting is developed through individual performance. The results are always different and unexepected.

Tiziano Martini was born in Soltau, Germany, in 1983. He lives in Belluno, Italy. In 2011 he participated in the LIA (Leipzig International Art program) in Germany. In 2012 he participated in the CARS (Cusio Artist Residency Space) at Omegna (VB, Italy).

Martini had solo shows at Otto Zoo, Milano, Galerie Potemka, Liepzig, AplusB gallery, Brescia, David Achenbach Projects, Duesseldorf, Studio D’arte Cannaviello, Milan and  MARS, a non-profit artists’ space, in Milan. His works have been included into group shows at Museo di Lissone, Galleria d’Arte Comunale, Monfalcone (Gorizia, Italy), at Domiti Contemporanee (Belluno, Italy) and at Anne 10, State Institute of Culture, Sofia (Bulgary).
